Directions for Iron Suits and Shorts

The good thing about our Barefoot Wet suits and Iron Shorts is that we double glue the double thick flotation padding in the suits everywhere. This is good because it allows the suit to last longer, perform and glide on the water best. A forewarning; when the suits are new they are very tight and stiff because the glue is hard, however after about six times of use, they will fit like a glove, and feel very comfortable. Whenever I have my students suit up in a brand new suit, I have them soak them in water and drench them, because they expand more the wetter they get. When putting the Iron Shorts on for the first time, after soaking them, slowly inch them over your hips to get them on. Do not pull to hard because it stresses them when they are new. When putting the wet suit on for the first time, after soaking, put it one arm at a time, then have one person hold the zipper path together, while another zips it up.
